Whether you are in business or not, managing your finances is something that everyone should be doing.
Many people don’t do this though. They live from pay to pay, and they occasionally check how much money they have in their bank account.
For a long time, I was one of these people. I had no cash flow. I had more bills than income, and the thought of doing a budget seemed kind of pointless, boring, and very confronting to say the least.
Over the past few years, I have made a point of creating budgets, and making the effort to manage my finances, especially as my circumstances, and my business earnings have improved. The problem for me with my budgets was that they were ‘static’, and they only represented my current income, savings, and expenses.
None of my spread sheets got me fired up and excited.
I was recently introduced to Wizefi, and now that I have used it for a while, I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on it.
Wizefi Financial Management System
Wizefi is a budgeting, and financial management program that was only launched a few weeks ago (Oct 2017.), in California.
The program helps you to create an accurate budget, and also projects your Net worth into the future. The projections show you how much you will have to retire on, based on your current earnings, and spending habits.
The program is very easy to use, and it is very easy to customise your fields to include all your earnings and expenses.
At the time of writing this, an app is yet to be released, but I have been informed that this will not be too far away.
I have tested the program on a laptop, ipad, and mobile phone, and the program works perfectly on all platforms.
The program has a feature known as CAFR (Cash Available For Reallocation), and this is money that you intentionally make available for your four step wealth building plan, which is broken down into these categories;
- Emergency savings
- Debt Repayments
- Cash Reserve
Each of these sections shows the date that you will achieve each goal in these sections. The date continues to change as you change your figures within these areas.
Within each section of the budget, a graph is automatically generated that shows your projected Net Worth if you stick to your current plan, and also what your Net worth could be if you follow the wealth building guidelines within the program. It also shows the year that you will achieve these amounts.
Wizefi is an ‘Invitation Only’ program, as it relies on word of mouth to promote it. To offset the lack of traditional advertising, Wizefi offers an affiliate program for people who are using this software.
The affiliate commissions are fairly small, but there is enormous potential to make a significant income from this program. The affiliate program can also be factored into the program itself, and these figures get applied to your projected Net Worth.
The cost of using Wizefi is only $8/month. Considering what this program can do for you, and your business, the cost of having it is not even worth worrying about. Most people wouldn’t think twice about subscribing to Netflix for the same amount.
There are no lock in contracts, and Wizefi can be cancelled at anytime.
It is my honest opinion that this program can help everyone, regardless of whether you run a business or not.
If you are running a business, and you don’t have a financial management system in place, Wizefi is definitely something you should look into further.
